Winter is here and now is the
time to look towards Warmth, Dryness and Protection when buying
your Motorcycle kit for the Cold, Wet months ahead – cheerful or
what!
LOOK for inner thermal liners,
ones that zip out so that you can continue to wear the garment
as the warmer, even hotter, days come in.
Most garments come with the label
saying 100% Waterproof – yes, well, take it from someone who’s
been out there in all kinds of weather – if it’s got a zip or
press studs, neck hole, arm hole, the rain’s going to find its
own way in somehow!
Remember BE SEEN, you know you’re
out there but does that car/van driver? Wear something bright,
reflective if possible – the colour might even cheer you up!
C.E. Approved armour is also a
must if want to protect yourself against the unexpected
happening and you come off your stead. As we all now it’s a
lot more treacherous under those tyres during winter months.
